Clover Patch "Window Roll" problem...
Hi all,
Just got a nice Xmas gift, the legendary Window Roll!
Great idea, one showstopper: Where did Clover Patch find these POS
Duraflex-wannabe buckles? These things will not grab the tie-down strap
AT ALL. I inserted a thicker strap into the buckle and it still allowed
the strap to slide right out. You cannot tighten the bag to the roll
cage^H^H^H^Hsport bar like this.
Just to make sure I wasn't crazy, I pulled one of the real Duraflex
buckles off of my KLR's tankbag and it grabbed the strap just fine.
Anyone seen this?

Re: Clover Patch "Window Roll" problem...
I've got a Clover Patch and the buckles & cinch straps work perfectly.
I have been using it all summer with no problems whatsoever. I always cinch
it tight to the rollbar and then tie off the free ends of the straps as you
would normally do with any harness type of attachment.
