Window Roll
does anyone have one of these? I stumpled across this and thought wow what a great idea. Im just wondering if they are actually any good. But seems like a great way to safely store your windows and bring them with you incase you need them.
Id like to find a place in Canada that sells them (preferably ontario)

Re: Window Roll
yea I bought the clover patch one... Its a waste of money. Its a GREAT idea and I use it a lot. But doing it over I would have just bought a few pieces of felt from a craft store and made my own. Thats all it is. The cover that it all goes into is ok. Not waterproof, but ok. But the felt I got with mine has fallen apart and likes to pick up leaves and anything else you lay it on while rolling up the windows. So its not that clean. I know a few guys online who made their own. And they say not to put the rear window with the metal bar in it. But I always have :) Hope this helps.

Re: Window Roll
so the idea is good, the quality of the one you got is not. so you are suppose to take the bar off every time? that defeats the purpose. I want somthing that is handy and works.

Re: Window Roll
Nah, i have used a beach towel to roll them up in. Cheap and works just fine.
As for the back window, I never remove it. I roll it up and velcro it to the roof crossbar, then put the roof down. There are a couple of straps that came with the top from the factory that are for this purpose, but I prefer the double side velcro.

Re: Window Roll
yea the roll itself is a good idea. spending money on it... not so much. the beach towel works. I would just roll mine up like JT says... but the zipper on the left side is ****ed so it doesnt zip up.
