I love the lyrics, I gotta hear the song.

I remember when the Mayor and council voted to ban the Barenaked
Ladies from performing at Nathan Philips Square.

The Barenaked Ladies became a huge success in Canada, but does anyone
outside of Toronto remember the name of the mayor or any of the
councillors? What a bunch of self serving and out of touch dorques!

Study "eminent domain", it's gotten worst than when they gave my parents
fifty bucks for five acres to build a freeway across it in '64. Luckily they
had sold a lot of it for five thousand, which equaled what they had paid for
it twenty five years before.
