If someone is killed in a vehicle where the a safety devices were
intentionally disabled, by removal of the fuses, might well lead to
investigation of manslaughter or perhaps aggravated manslaughter or at the
very least reckless endangerment.

If you wanted to disable the system you would be wiser to find another way,
some unprovable way, to stop the current flow in that circuit.

though.
