Re: Camp Jeep - has anyone here ever gone?
I took my TJ in stock form to Penn's Woods jamboree, we did fine. There are
different trails at each jambo with different challenge levels.

You break up into smaller groups to make the runs. It's not like
everyone is on the same trail. You get to know the people you're running
with.

Re: Camp Jeep - has anyone here ever gone?
Katie dear, the WHOLE point of Jamborees is to get inexperienced drivers and stock
rigs out there and TEACH them what they can do!
Most Jambo's give a Jeep 101 or similar I think.
Trails are from take your stock grand out to play to stuff that sometimes scares the
**** outta me.

Took the family to Camp Jeep in Virginia a couple of years ago. We had a
blast. Stayed in a hotel in town, drove out every day. Lots to do, plenty of
trail rides at different levels. We would go back but they keep scheduling
it the week after school starts for the kids.
