Re: California Wildfires - San Diego Area
Hi Jeff,
Insurance companies will be a big problem, there are over one
thousand homes burn now, and this fire has another half a month to go.
There are still empty lots in La Costa from the Harmony
Grove fire of October 1996, that burned twenty homes.
These car will be a bigger problem than you think, I don't know
about Riverside County, that I believe you're a part of, but down here
we've pretty much zoned out all the junk yards. So finding tow truck
operator to take a junk car will be impossible.

This is not my problem, it is somebody else's problem.
All I want is a few volunteers to help out, the county can do the rest. They
have already said this project is a concern, and they are already working to
resolve the concerns. All I am wanting to do is help bring a bunch of
scattered crap that is ------ over a wide area in inaccessable locations,
and bring the crap to a place that can be accessed lateer by the much larger
vehicles it will take to solve the problem.
I am waiting on the County to get in touch to see if they even want this
sort of volunteer activity. If they want it, I want to have some people
together that is ready to respond to the need.
