Oops, I forgot to say the starter solenoid on those is on the fender,
you can clean it from up top easily.

Are those bent parts in the image?

Not bent, just pretty out-of-whack because of the linkage not sitting in
its proper spot. Also, I'm pretty sure the t-case was dropped a few
inches in that picture.

Not bent, just pretty out-of-whack because of the linkage not sitting in
its proper spot. Also, I'm pretty sure the t-case was dropped a few
inches in that picture.

Not bent, just pretty out-of-whack because of the linkage not sitting in
its proper spot. Also, I'm pretty sure the t-case was dropped a few

If the engine will fire off with the starter engaged but then dies with
no spark when you release the key points to a problem with the coil
resistance wire. The coil is fed full 12 volts when starting, a few less
volts while running. Check by turing on the ignition, see if you have 12
volts at one or both of the coil terminals, if voltage then you have a
different problem. If no voltage, try it with the starter engaged, if
voltage, you have a bad ignition switch or bad resistor wire.
