They are exactly as you said, FAKE. They do not hold the tire because it
they did, they would not be fake, they would be real. I air down to the
pressures you describe, and I never blow a bead. Well, I blew the bead the
time I rolled ...

another reason to run wider tires. with 33x12.5's on 15x8's I dont lose beads at
anything over 5 lbs (granted, I run super swampers now).
the fake beadlocks are totally worthless IMO. and, like you said, you cant run the
real thing on the street.
