Kinda sorta ... ;-)
It's not a "box", it's more like a "c" channel made from some stiff
material with the open side facing the headliner. It crosses the back
of the cargo area (side to side) just behind the rear seat. It's held
in place (seemingly) by being trapped by the rear window moldings. The
5.25 inch speakers are mounted near the outside ends, slightly angled
inwards. These speakers are a substitute for the tailgate speakers
(AFAIK).
Sorry if that's "clear as mud". If I had a digital camera, I'd take
pictures. You might be able to ask about it at a Jeep dealer parts
department?
