Re: Articulation test pix up
LOL!
There still are some Jeep 'purists' around, but most of us here have
anything but stock Jeeps. In my case one of both, a stock XJ and a CJ7.
I had the VW when I was young and had tons off off roads and tidal mud
flats to play on. Haven't owned anything since that was even close to
the fun in the Bug until my wife got us a Jeep, the CJ7. 25 years
later.....
I/we will always have a Jeep from now on. She enjoys them as much as I
do, more even, she has me hanging on for dear life when she is behind
the wheel off road. I have never blown a tire off the rim, but she
managed on a week old set of AT's climbing a sand pit wall in our
Cherokee. Someone even got a nice shot of it blowing...
You will have fun.
Same deal goes with Jeeps as a Baja Bug though... 'You play, you pay'.

Re: Articulation test pix up
Cool!
Back in my 70's & 80's days as a VW tech I built several Baja Bugs. I was
always amazed at how well they did off road...not as well as a Jeep mind
you!
