Articulation test pix up

I did a quickie "ramp" test, it was the only one I could find nearby. Pics show the rear brake lines safely on top now, fender extension progress, and front fender stuffin'. Key to the flexing (not extreme, but far beyond stock) is the Teraflex Revolver shackles, and extended ARB, Vent, e-brake, and vent lines. Putting the springs on top of the axles helps, too! This weekend, I hit the trail and do some real life testing. |

Looks sweet man, you are doing a nice job.
If it was mine and because I bush run, I would be taking a piece of 1" angle iron about 6" long and be tack welding the open side of the V horizontally across the spring u-bolts in line with the axle tube just below the brake lines. That way if anything does come up at them, it will slide off the angle iron cross bar. I might even notch it so the open angle was touching the axle tube before welding it to the bolts so nothing can even sneak in the crack and nail the line. I just see branches hitting the strangest things all the time. Like my fan belt on my first off road run. No shroud on my CJ7 or the stick would likely have been deflected. Or not, who knows... Just a thought...
