figure out what Acetone was distilled/refined from. Animal, vegetable or
mineral?

Acetone, is refined of course by the petroleum industry, One of
them a Shell plant in Deer Park, Texas, that I've been inside many
times.

Gasoline was a useless byproduct of kerosene as late as 1970 and
