Anybody dropped a 4.3 Vortec V6 & 4L60E in a Jeep?

You're right, Bill. And I've considered that too. I live in a two junk
yard town, though. And, believe it or not, it's not too easy to come by a
V8 around here that hasn't been blown up altogether. (Must be nice on the
west coast:) I went looking for transmissions and what do you do when they
say, "Nope, ain't got none of those"?
Unless I get a tip from the parts stores, I have to 1) keep goin' back to
ask the same question, 2) go to the BIG yard that sells junk at retail
prices, or 3) buy new. Old story that binds many Jeepers. The ride keeps
me busy and it's kinda fun, though:)
P.S. Sorry bout the "Fellas" reference. I think it irked you a bit.
Probably just an East side/West side thing.
