First thing is to check the fluid! I ran mine out of fluid once and it started going BANG BANG BANG in every gear really bad except 3rd so I limped it 20 miles out of the bush in a snowstorm at 9 pm on New Years Eve, got a local place to open up, filled it with gear oil, drove 50 miles back to the bush camp we were at and am still driving it 8 years later. I put all new seals in it shortly after.... Do 'not' use GL5 fluid, you need GL4. Once you have fluid in it, then see what happens.... Mike |
