Re: Advise on installing tow hooks on 95 Cherokee Sport
I used tow hooks and brackets from Rusty's Offroad
(www.rustysoffroad.com) on my 92 XJ and installation was not hard. All
bolt-on, and everything was in their kit. I cut a couple pieces out of
the plastic fascia under the bumper to access the hooks.

Re: Advise on installing tow hooks on 95 Cherokee Sport
If those are the brackets I'm thinking of, they are a good thing -
they ------ the load on that front extension. The chassis manual for
the older XJ (and I think this one should be the same) shows a fairly
flimsy connection to the bumper. After pulling my front bumper off to
make some repairs, I wouln't trust that extension/mount to take much a
pull without a hefty ------er to transfer the load farther aft.
