Yups, normal for '97 thru '99 (some '99s have the new design that
doesn't crack I think). Install isn't all that bad actually...
neighbor and I did mine. I replaced mine with a Thorley. Was going to
go with Borla, but got a helluva deal on the Thorley. Drop me a line
if you decide to do it yourself and run into any problems/questions.
