96 Cherokee, Turn signal intermittent malfunctioning
After a certain number of flashes, left turn signal stops and stays
steady-on. Number of flashes decreased over time. Then similar with
right flasher. Outside lights acted same as dash indicator lights.
Search of posts here and concluded there is a replaceable " flasher"
device but not sure where it is located. Any other (preliminary) ideas
as to what to do. Hazard lights work properly.

I recommend you turn on the signals with the engine off and follow the
clicks to find the flasher.... On the old ones it is down by the
drivers side left foot.
