Re: 93 Grand Cherokee-Won't Start in Cold
I'd try to fix the problem as to why it's not starting. Mostly
because I had an old Austin Healy with the side draft carburetors that one of the slide was stuck open, that sucker went to twelve grand and exploded so quick. The only place I'd use it is if gasoline was puddled in the intake manifold, from severe flooding, fouling the spark plugs. Re: 93 Grand Cherokee-Won't Start in Cold
Sure it would, especially if the starter bypass wasn't making a
connection. What happens when you battery jump it, spinning the engine twice as fast with a hotter spark. If the starter spins fast enough and you get no firing, is either fuel or spark. Unless it stops right away in which case wrong oil weight is another suspect. You mention a miss even when warm... that would be worth getting rid of as that engine should never do that. -- Still a Raiders fan, but no longer sure why. |

Re: 93 Grand Cherokee-Won't Start in Cold
Still the same problem, just spins a bit faster.
Location of the ballast resister? I'll put the torch to it. j/k. I will try a lamp though. "L.W.
