Re: 87 XJ rear leaf springs
Go to the stealer and get all new straps for the U-joints. They use flat
metal straps and re-using them is not a good idea. On Mon, 11 Dec 2006 15:37:29 -0800, merrill wrote: > The 87 has about 300,000km and works well with no leaks. Re: 87 XJ rear leaf springs
I know of a couple that got a surprise then they unbolted the
Universal Joint depending on the park to hold the car from rolling, and one that will never make that mistake again. Buy a saber saw for your spring hangers and U-Bolts. Wire bush the ratio tags bolted to their covers, Trailer packages and SMOG requirements make for many ratios. build sheet - Re: 87 XJ rear leaf springs
Thanks for the info Billy Ray
I live in Canada so I can't complete the form, it requires a state and zip code so it will not accept my province and postal code. I want to get a build sheet for all 5 of my Cherokees including my old DD, 2 fixer-uppers and 2 parts donors. If I can't do it online, what should I ask the dealer for? My parts dealer Town and Coutry Chrysler (highly reccomended) in Smiths Falls is open late on Wednesdays so I could go there after work this week.
