You have to keep the faces of the U-joint yokes parallel in the back and
point the front diff one directly at the t-case because the front
driveshaft has a double cardan joint. So likely you have to tip the
back of the front up.
The rear ones want to be parallel or say =| |= or =/ /=. Folks
use an angle finder to get them right.

Robb, I see Rubicon's instructions for the 4.5" kit haven't impreoved! :-)
The "Big" end of the springs, that is, the military wrap, mounts to the
spring hangers on the frame, the smaller end goes to the shackle end. Both
ends have the same size bushings. Rubicon doesn't make this clear at all in
their instructions, but I clarified it with them over the phone when I
installed this kit on my '94 a few years ago.
The 2.5 degree shims are to go on both the front and the rear, however I'd
never use an aluminum shim to begin with, particularly on the front end. You
should be able to get 2 - 3 degree steel shims from a local alignment shop.
If not, you can for sure get them from Poison Spyder Customs in Denver.
Because of the 1" longer shackles that come with this kit, the front caster
will be shot to hell and it will handle like $#!t unless you add the caster
back in.
If you haven't done so yet, this is a good time to install an SYE kit in
your xfer case, with a CV rear driveshaft. Rather than fool with the shims
have your spring perches cut loose and align the pinion properly. You can
then toss the xfer case drop pucks in the trash.
This is a superb, flexy kit and the springs hold up very well. FWIW, I
tossed the Rubicon shackles and installed Mountain Off Road's versions,
which are much stouter.
