The rear is definitely a Dana 35 unit. not a 44. I replaced a collision-
damaged Dana 35 3.07 with a donor Dana 35 that I was told is 3.73. It's
something different because the speedometer is way off now.

3.73 WAS availible in the dana 35.

Which means it was also available in the D30 ...

If I recall correctly, the 3.73 gears came with the automatic transmission.

AFAIK, 3.55 was standard with auto, 3.07 was standard with manual, 3.73 was
towing package, 4.10 was 4cyl.
