1988 Jeep Comanche clutch hydraulic fluid ?

Re: 1988 Jeep Comanche clutch hydraulic fluid ?
I don't know what was wrong, but you couldn't have 'ruined' any seals
using DOT 3 brake fluid.
If bleeding it 'made it' go bad, it was bad to start with. Nothing you
could have done to wreck it more.

I think that if I would have recompressed the old slave and reinstalled
it, might have worked, remember it has those two straps that release
when the Slave is first engaged, the problem is once you get air into
the system unless you compress that Slave back all the way down like
when it it's new you can't bleed it completely.

it, might have worked, remember it has those two straps that release
when the Slave is first engaged, the problem is once you get air into
the system unless you compress that Slave back all the way down like
when it it's new you can't bleed it completely.

it, might have worked, remember it has those two straps that release
when the Slave is first engaged, the problem is once you get air into

Well, it 'can' be a bugger but it will for sure bleed. Because you
tried the bleed unsuccessfully to fix the noise issue, I suspect the
slave was just plain bad. It happens, even new out of the box.
I really doubt you harmed anything.
