It says it could have two starter styles. I do have access to even
older manuals. It would help if I had a picture of what we were
dealing with.

Greg, without some pics its hard to tell but for $7500 it would have
to be in darn good shape, i.e no rust at all, fairly fresh engine
etc.. From your description I'd guess $4500-$5500 would be more in
the range.
Have a look at completed auctions for ****** Jeeps on eBay to get a
better idea of what they're going for. Depending on the exact model
you may want to check on one of early CJ websites for more /better

to be in darn good shape, i.e no rust at all, fairly fresh engine
etc.. From your description I'd guess $4500-$5500 would be more in
the range.
