Re: '02 wrangler doors off lights on , anyone know of any solutions?
The last loop of the spring cuts across the diameter of the spring circle.
This, in effect, is like a cap on the end of the assembly. When you push it
on it actually does depress the push button and hold it in the depressed
position when the spring is clamped on to the push button housing. Now that
I am trying to write how it works I find that it is really hard to explain.
Hope that is clear enough.

4WD Hardware makes a set of clips that keep the switch off. Picture the
spring-like gizmos that keep free weights from sliding off an olympic weight
bar and they're like mini-sized versions. If you want an idea, stop by a
sports store and take a look at them. Easier yet, just get the number for
them at www.4wd.com and give em a call. They're cheap.

Or you can pull fuse #4. Interior light will still operate using headlight
