Hello

I have a 08' Liberty North, & so far the only problem I have had is a water leak coming from the roof in the rear cargo area.

Chrysler replaced a seal from the roofrack which they said was cracked when the roof rack was installed. Since then the leak has returned & there is even some water damage to the material on roof. And the water is pooring in!

Not sure if chrysler knows what they are looking for, would appreciate some feedback if anyone else has had this problem & maybe know what it is!

I don't know much about a liberty but where is the radio antenna mounted? Like on the wifes focus the water came in thur the base of the antenna which wasn't tight against the roof so water worked its way inside and damaged the roof liner. Which was replaced at fords expense. If this isn't it and urs is still under warrantee then have them take a pressure hose and find the problem even if they have to rid the roof liner out.

 

Thanks! So just picked up my baby & they had to do a minor weld just underneath the rear hatch. Not to mention replace the headliner. There was a small pin size hole where the water runs down the rear tailgate area which caused the water to build up inside the roof.
