Re: wrangler water leaks

mine still leaks ,you just dry it out ,pin your nose for the terrible smell (my small trunk gets frequently wet and full of water ,plug the plug and let it go
The dealerships kind of grin at these problems (water leaks ,rust spots ) as they say its a JEEP
but what we paid does not reflect that and when you purchase paint protection like i di well the laugh is on you .
Jeeps are a toy like vehicle ,you are not going to get the high service as with other vehicles maybe its because they are off road::smokin:

Something I have noticed.....My windsheild does not have rubber trim around the parimeter of the windsheild? Should it???? This could be the reason, I have a leak; if the seal is not perfect. I googled "pic of Jeep windsheild" and noticed some of the pics have a rubber seal.....not sure of the year of the vehicles though.

I had the 2011 4 door & freedom top had leak isssues as well had them fix that three times. My friend had the 2011 two door had them fix it 8 times still leaked she traded it in because of the isssues and now has the 2012 jeep with the same problems its been in 3 Times still leaks . I traded mine in got the 2012 with freedom top because I wanted the newer motor . I have not had a issue yet (knock on wood ) but she is fed up ! I dont blame her .Dearship told here its a jeep ,deal with it ... Dont take the roof off . for the money you pay it shouldnt leak that many times 3 out of 4 jeeps!!! Jeep should have this problem fixed by now . as for cleanning the rubber seals I dont think that should be done all the time , ( I would emagine over time that would put wear on the rubber cleaning them all the time) but I guess that would take a few years them the warrrenty would be up anyway so they dont care >> Just kept taking it back I guess ?
