Picked up my new JK on Wed, this weekend I washed and waxed, tinted the top, painted the exhaust with high temp paint added mirrors and went topless!

Something else caught my attention in the garage. Love your other toy. What year is it?

I did the opposite of almost everybody, I have a 2 dr JK Sport, didn't have rock rails or side steps. I found cheap brand new 'used' EOM side steps that I installed yesterday. Mainly off roading to fishing spots on weekends and these don't impair its abilities for my use. These were to prevent rocks/dirt to be projected on my doors that were already showing signs of abrasion, will prevent door dents from others and providse me something to kick my boots on to remove slush in winter.

Yup I did the same thing, bought a set of used OEM side steps, Mainly due to my wife trying to climb inside, never thought of the protection from the elements, good call! I bet the salt spray will be cut down also!
