Re: What did you do to your JK this w/e.
This weekend was my first with my Jeep (picked it up thursday)
so far i have :
taken hard top off
installed soft top
installed grill insert
installed grab handles
bedliner on the door sills
changed the tires
moved the front plate (and removed the dealer plate cover)
Hubby put on stickers
installed backup camera (still trying to figure out how to hard wire the display screen)
spent the weekend topless :-)

Nice....question about the plasti-dipp, how well does it hold up to the high pressure wand wash (self serve car wash)? I am planning on plasti-dipping the front and rear gray bumper covers.

At first I was trying to avoid them with the pressure washer but after awhile I hit them and now I think nothing of spraying them.
I have not washed it since spraying the wheels, but I think the wheels would be even more durable, because of the larger surface area it's adhered to.
Anyways I recommend for the hinges because it seems they are magnets for rocks and it works great to test out if you like the black rims.

I did one side's hinges a few weeks ago and they have been holding up with no problems.

You will need "ALL GIG" from NAV TV or "LOCKPIC" to be able to hook up your camera to the nav/dvd screen.
Getting mine installed on Tuesday but still not sure where the camera head should go? Maybe on top of the trailer hitch. Ill post when its all finished.

Re: What did you do to your JK this w/e.
I've got an update about the plasti-dip.
I washed my Jeep last night and hit a hinge at what must have been the perfect angle. So one of my hinges is starting to peel a bit, this was probably the 6th time I hit it head on with the pressure washer. I still recomend to keep those hinges from getting big paint chips.
