upshift and downshift engine speeds

upshift and downshift engine speeds

Can any one post the optimum upshift and down shift engine speeds? It seem they are a lot lower than most vehicles. I find shifting over 3000 rpm gives me clutch whine..

I find myself upshifting when the revs get just past 2500.

i usually shift around 2500 as well.

I'm different...........totally ignore the tach and listen to the motor, but it does require some quiet so you can determine when. Ya, I guess I'm old fashioned.
