Default small prob?

Thought I would take my doors off for the first time this year, went to loosen one of the caps off and it just snapped. Gonna call my dealer to see if they will help but i'm not optimistic as I bought it used last summer. If they are no help. What are my options?

Change the hinge or just leave it. Most people who take their doors off remove the nuts when they first get the Jeep and never put them back on..

Use a little wd40 on the hinges every once in awhile stops the squeaking and helps when its time to remove them.

as mentioned you can replace the hinge or attempt to remove it with a tap. Worst case you still have to replace the hinge or don't worry about it. I take my off a few times a year and put some grease on them to prevent them from rusting in.
