Well I sadly parted with my 04 TJ over the weekend, but am now the proud owner of a 2010 Mountain.

Have to say that the majority of 4 door owners I have encountered in the past have not seemed overly friendly (not many waves), but I am out to change that!

Same here, they are all yupys, I've learn my lesson, now I only wave if they have a modification on the jeep or if they wave first.

Similar (wave)problem here lately, really bugs me.

I'm completely stock, and will always wave first, the dealers really need to educate these new owners.

 

I just got my 08 sahara monday...i heard through the grapevine prior to that, that jeep owners wave to one another...on my way back home(sault ste. marie) from guelph, experienced a lot of waves...some owners here do, some dont..

Well I find the same problem being the owner of a 03 tj, that other cj,yj and tj owners 95% wave, but when it comes to jk owners about 10% wave to us. I have stopped waving to jk's as I don't get the wave back. Like Tracklock says you have a better chance of receiving a wave from someone with a modification done (hes in the know) I have an opinion of why the jk's aren't waving but I really don't want to start a WAR on here... lol

 

well Mr. White, I'm a new JK owner, and I;m sitll waving, well, i guess I just started as its my first jeep...but I will continue to wave to keep he tradition goin!

 

Funny, the same discussions about waving go on in the motorcycle forums.

For the record, I always wave when riding my dual sport, even to the twinkie cruiser riders.

I will always wave when I get my jeep, someday.

 

New 2010 four door 'Mountain' Edition here and with my first day on the road it's like I never left.....5 waves on my way home from the dealer! I gotta tell ya, the new four door is great and was the only realistic option for a new dad as well. Can't wait to get some ups and start customizing!
