JK Door Hinge Paint Bubbling
Hi Canadian Jeepers, happy to connect on this forum. I recently purchased my first jeep (a 2010 JKU back in December) and am absolutely in love bordering on obsession. It is in overall great shape, was well maintained and has low km's however I just noticed the hinge paint is bubbling on all six hinges on three out of four doors. I've seen the various tutorials on x-actoing them off punting underneath and replacing with kentrol, smittybilt or rampage steel powder coat replacements. Has anyone had this done in the GTA? Any recommendations on just having them repainted? It's driving me a little nuts but I don't want to mess it up further with a diy repair...

Re: JK Door Hinge Paint Bubbling
mine buubled after one year and completely fell off. I just sanded them down without taking them off and repainted. Yeah its crappy quality. Dealer wanted 150 $ per hinge to replace them.
