After dozens of emails I finally got the best price at Rose City Chrysler in Welland, MSRP was $39,7xx and I got $6100 off of that. I was going to wait and get a 2014 in the exact colour I wanted but I couldn't see spending all that extra money over colour, very happy with my Rock Lobster!

When i buy a new vehicle i go online and option out the exact vehicle i want. Print out the online quote, it will have all the option and codes on it. Map out all the dealerships in your area. I like to get at least 5-6. Go for a drive to dealer 1 and ask for there best price on this exact vehicle, not one close off the lot (even if u like it), but a price to order the exact vehicle on the paper. Tell the salesman no BS, monthly payment or extra crap, no dickering, just the price in cash or difference if u have a trade. I tell him i am buying a vehicle within a week and i am getting a price from 5-6 dealers and showing them all the same paper with your price on it so they know. I do this at all the dealers, it doesn't take long when u cut the bs. I let the second best price get 1 shot to beat the top price and then i go home and wait 1 week and wait for the phone calls from the dealers. At the end of the week i buy the best price. Or go back to the guy that offered me the best price and buy the vehicle on the lot that i liked.
1 u don't get into playing there monthly payment and interest rate game
2 usually find at least 2 dealers that want to fight for the deal
3 are pricing the exact same vehicle so everyone is on the same page
4 get the exact vehicle i want
5 enjoy telling them what i want them to do, instead of doing what they want to do
6 have always bought 1k's under list plus insentives
Dealer cash back and incentives is still list price by the way.....the company just puts out a deal of the month to appeal to people...it is still list price.

A near plain jane is a Sport B with 3.21 rear end, no power ops, no locking lug nuts (unless you want to use an ez-out down the road), non-premium soft top. Oh OK, I did ask for AC and boards.
