I have a 2008 Rubi unlimited with factory exhaust BUT I brought it to a Midas and got them to drill a hole in the left side of the muffler and weld in another 2.5" tail pipe.. Looks awesome, and sounds way better than stock! Only cost me $40

Here's a few pics! Can't say I can take all the credit.. Bought some wheel spacers off a guy about a month ago and noticed he had dual exhaust.. He did the same thing.. Looked and sounded better than stock so I had to steal his idea!

Cool . Thanks. currently I have a glasspack mounted midbody, Stock muffler removed. Sounds good but after a year its starting to get a little loud. May as well do this mod on the stock muffler while its off and try it before I drop $100 on a new magnaflow.

hotlightning, your post confermed what I was thinking about doing to the stock exhaust on my Sahara.
I just welded a matching tail pipe to the driver side of the muffler. It looks much better and the sound is aceptable just a slight bit more of a rumble at idle and just noticable at highway speeds.
