e-connect rubicon axel
Someone of you can answer my question?
I hesitate to buy the Rubicon because I have poor confidence in the electronic system that blocks the differential in the past day. before, I had a ford ranger 4x4 with electronic 4x4 selection system and it has broken into 4 low mode, I could not come back in 2 wheel. Is the e-connect on the rubicon is also likely to give me this kind of problem? can disengage it manually ? The same question arises for the front bar with automatic disconnection.
I dont made some aggressive 4x4, only a few logging roads and through beaver dam. Do youn think i am better to choose with self-locking differential on the sahara?
thank you answers .. a future buyer wrangler unlimited ....
(my english is not good, i am french québec

Re: e-connect rubicon axel
If yur buying new and have the bucks I wud for sure get a ruby weather you do offroading or not the ruby's resale value will be higher when u sell it. Also if u do offroading, most of the stuff you will want to do to a Sahara or Sport model will already be done on the Ruby. Anything can go wrong with no matter what u buy so thinking there will be electronic problems is anyones guess, but if its new and u have problems up to 7 yrs 115,000 km power train and probably 5 yrs 100,000 km on the rest I wouldn't worry to much.
