'08 w Nav. - U connect button says not equipped?

hey
i have a 2008 sahara 2 door with the nav system. I have sirus hooked up and the navy works, but I thought I would try to figure out the U Connect button today and when i press it, it says "no equipped with u-connect"?
Wouldnt it be equipped if theres a button for it? I dont knowww lol

Nope. The Wranglers 07-09 did not come equipped with a mic so the U-connect is disabled. If you install a mic you can enable the u-connect.

I bought a $20 mic and enabled the voice recognition in the engineering mode. I have had this running for about 2 yrs now. works great for phone calls and entering in addresses while driving
