Do I need to regear?

Do I need to regear?
I have a 2007 JK Sahara Unlimited with a manual transmission. I put the rough country 2.5" lift on and now am looking for some 35" tires. It is my daily driver that will probably never go offroad. Will I need to regear?

Re: Do I need to regear?
What gears do you have now? 3.73 or 3.21?
I have 3.73 with 35s and have not regeared. I have an auto and run with OD off. Get a programmer and run in 5th. 6th will pretty much be useless unless you regear.
Long story short: It's totally up to you, I personally don't mind running with the OD off.

Re: Do I need to regear?
With 35's, you will want at least 3.73. Also depends on if you plan on pulling a trailer or not, if so, you might want to consider 4.10s if running the 3.21. I have 33's with the standard tranny and a 2.5" lift and no probs with the 3.73s.
