I was wondering if anyone has come across a decent tuner for the 2012 - 2013 Jeep Wrangler 3.6L VVTI motors? I saw one from Bully Dog, but the tunes on it are kinda garbage. I was hoping Superchips would come out with one, they have some pretty nice tune options for the 2010 and under. Just kinda frustrating, you buy a new jeep and there's nothing available for it. I know it needs to be developed, I could understand if my 2013 was a brand new era with a new motor, but this motor has been around for a year at least. You would think that they would have worked it out by now.

 

The problem is the new Computer programming in the 2011 and up. They have been unable to decipher all the code to reprogram the tunes properly..

 

for that I am aware, but I just wanted to make everyone else aware of the situation and if anyone finds anything they can post it here.

$600 eh.. hmm.. It says it can tune the 3.6L but the year only goes up to 2012. I know there basically the same, I would just be concerned it wouldn't interface with my 2013 for some reason or another and im out $600

 

I'm sure Superchips is not going to be left outta the market, just a matter of being patient, like I am for their model launch. Lord knows it hard though!

 

I really would like superchips to make one, they have really good prices. But there a little behind the game I guess...

 

I got the Diablo. Worth the $600 for my 3.8. However, you can get them used for cheaper and then all you have to do is update the software. I would email the company first to see if the 2013's are supported.

 

The Diablo looks like a very comprehensive unit. What tunes have you tried? Are you running any other mods (CAI, exhaust)? Trying hard to wait for Supertunes, but would like something for this summer so
I might have to pull the wallet for some other brand.

I have it on the lowest octane tune (I think 87/89) with 20% throttle boost).
