After all that, I only got the 1000 factory to consumer cash rebate. Which is okay, they're not obligated to pass on the factory to dealer rebate. Works out to 1000 below invoice which is very good. Started back in Feb negotiating at invoice and settled on that back then. Now minus the 1000. Was half expecting/wanting the full 3 which is a bit unrealistic. I'm satisfied, now just to pick it up next week and be done with it all. To add, walking in off the street today at the current 3000 off would bring it to couple hundred above invoice. There after I think it would be difficult to negotiate even more off so the 1000 is definitely a welcomed stress free bonus.

That's the thing, I was there in the morning before it came out, at least on jeep.ca, I since found out it came into their system at the dealer while we were negotiating but no one said anything and it's not reflected on the order under discount (not sure if it would state so anyway). Even then to get to invoice for my build at the time was a 3000 off from MSRP. I suspect it was applied as I noted afterwards while negotiating I started at invoice, they came down exactly 2000 dollars, I held on, they came down another 1000 etc. This was around 11 30 am, I had no idea at the time the systems kick in after 12 noon. So I don't know but I think so. I don't want to push it with them as it involved a trade in which we agreed to back them and which makes the deal work and at the end of the day is satisfactory. I've just been thinking while waiting since it was never clear that we negotiated invoice independant of any rebates and with luck the entire 3000 would transfer to when I picked it up. Wishful thinking really. Even then I wonder if I negotiated end January with no discounts. Secured invoice at that time, whether today they would give me 3000 off, but again they are not obligated to give the 2000 factory to dealer rebate. Invoice less 3000 is probably their cost. Have had enough of it all. Was satisfied at the time with the deal @ invoice, this additional 1000 off is a very nice bonus.

Getting Excited, called again today - My Jeep was quoted to be here on the 19th - was told today that it is on a rail car at a location about 25 minutes drive away..... now we shall see how long it takes to get from there to the dealer. I am betting it will be sooner than the 19th :)

Do you want to monitor it and let us know how it goes. Your shipping date is today 29th, just run a build for a rubicon unlimited via jeep.ca build for your postal code, then click your dealers inventory, if it is en-route the jeep, options etc. everything you ordered will be shown there as for sale and say "in transit" (obviously it's sold to you and the specs. do say "sold vehicle" but this is auto updated via Jeep direct on all dealers sites. I'm just curious how long it will take from the given shipping date to the time it does show up on the dealers site. It's 100% moving when it does. Check each day including today any time after noon Eastern.
My Jeep isn't showing up in their inventory unless they messed up my order and ordered me a Sahara with a automatic transmission...
As I was typing this I called 1-877-I-AM-JEEP Just to verify my order and everything.
I'm in "KZ" status, which means it's released to the yard or something like that waiting to be loaded on a rail car. The people at the number above are really friendly!
Anywho, new est. arrival date is April 16th, 2012. The guy on the phone also went over all the options I ordered, it seemed like he wanted to keep talking.
I'll let you know when it shows up as "in transit" for the dealerships inventory, because lets face it, I'm sure we are all checking the Jeep site daily, I have since the day I ordered it!
