Yes, elaborate so that people will understand what you're talking about.

sorry, never re-read before posting.

earlier this morning, the temp went all the way up. I then put 4l of coolant in, 2 litres of tranmission and 2 litres of engine oil

For the last few weeks, i was dripping coolant, and other than topping up the resevoir, i wasnt too bothered.,

Now i think that the crack has expanded in the thaw.

When i start up Jeep, it dies straight away. After a few (fasle) starts, it stayed running long enough to get home, but again the temp was up to the max.

looking at the reflection off the car parked in front, the lights go off too, and flicker at the same as the revs. When i do manage to get driving, it goes fine.

The 4 litres of coolant flowed straight out of the resevoir, after approx 5kms, it was empty, which i think points to the crack getting bigger, dont know why it wont start and stay going though

As it cools down the crack closes up and when it's warm it's opening up, plus the fact that when it's warm it's under pressure. Time to fix whatever is leaking before you start toasting the drivetrain.
