Bubles
My 99 4.7l, V8 was over temping, there was oil and coolant.
But then it wouldn't stay running, then it wouldnt turn over.
Today, i put more coolant in. kept the cap off, she started first time, but the coolant was bubbling.
I didn't drive anywhere.
I was told the bubbles is not a good sign, any ideas?
Is the whole thing worth repairing?
thanks

Re: Bubles
right now your at Compression level check... get yourself a compression tester, take out a spark plug and turn it over to see if you have good compression on each cylinder...
Another trick, If the coolant level got low, check the oil level, if its extremely high, thats where your coolant went...
Had this happen to 2 hemi's in 2 weeks! (one was an idiot, the other was neglect + Cold Water on a Hot Engine!!!)
