Canada Electrical problems

I love my 99 Grand Cherokee LTD but these electrical problems drive me @$%!!

I have been driving with this Jeep for the last 3 years but the electrical problems seems to be getting more extreme. The dual climate control has his own schedule; it heats when it is hot and visa vera; now the blower motor stoped working (no heat at all) but I know the motor is working fine. Sometimes it completly dies and then suddenly start working again?!? Sometimes the climate control is making all kind of squicking noises but nothing happens?; there seem to be no indication to tricker this issue.

Does anyone have the same problems? do you know a good mechanic in Calgary, AB?

Sounds like your blend doors have broken, there are a few fixes for it. The cheapest is to do it yourself since taking it to the dealeership will be highway robbery. About 14 hours of labour + parts.
Google wj blend door and see what you can find for repairing it.

Thanks 04WJGuy,
That is a big job; are you sure that this proplem can also shut down the complete climate control? (climate control tempenture lights die and go on again)The other problem that I have every couple of weeks is sometimes the cruise control does not work (no lights on dash); but then it works fine for a couple of month's. The next thing the exterior temperture meter start adding 20C, suddenly it's 37C when it's 17C....?
Could this all relate to the broken blend doors?

Please advice.

open glove box.all the way.set temp.unplug motor for blend door try that.computer after so many key starts will automaticlly cycle the doors and that is why you will have problems.for me it is commom to most duel systems in all of there trucks.good luck.

This job is a huge pain in the ***, unless you cut a hole in your glove box, you have to take the whole dash apart, needless to say i didn't have the time or the patience, to do it myself, so I ended up paying 1500 to have a Rad shop do it, but i also had to replace my A/C evaporator.

Jeep should really recall those stupid blend doors,
