Looking at '00 GC Limited.

Re: Looking at '00 GC Limited.
Hiya 04,
The '94 XJ is now living on a farm and will be plowing, I suspect, until the end of her life. Not a bad way to go for a vehicle that was meant to work. I do miss her but her road trip days were at an end I suspect. We got some more snow today. The "00 Quadradrive behaves quite a bit differently than the '94 so I'll have to get out into a vacant parking lot and "practice"....heh....heh...
Peter.

With the 247 you can "trick" it into acting like a front wheel drive with a little practice. If you tap the gas just enough to make the rear wheels spin, let off just a touch then give it gas again it will transfer all the power to the front. Good trick if your going up icy hills.
Takes some practice to learn just how hard to step on the gas in a slide/ skid since you can either have it reacting as a rear wheel drive or a front wheel drive.
You can even do forward or reverse doughnuts with some patience...not that I would know this being the...umm, law abiding, citizen that I am. :)
