Default Driveshaft removal issues

Hey Guys, I recently bought a parts jeep, and am trying to get the transfer case out, but I cant for the life of me get the driveshafts out, I got all the bolts and clamps undone, and I still cant get either shaft to budge, should I pound on the driveshaft with a hammer toward the transfer case? or is there a trick I am missing, I need to get this figured out, also, is it possible to change the seal where the rear driveshaft enters the t case without rebuilding the case? Thanks

quick update: I went to princess auto, and got a dead blow hammer, and banged away on the driveshafts and got them both out.

I'm not familiar with that particular t/case but you can usually change the rear seal without removing the t/case from the vehicle.
