Pretty much.

 

i have a custom cold air intake on my jeep, (pictures are in my album) with an upgraded throttle body, the sound from the cold air intake is a fun little tone when im heavy on the throttle... and mine whistles just a little (thats the throttlebody's fault) but as far as the noise goes its not very loud, you can hear the engine sucking in the air, throttle response on mine seems to be higher (it depends on how long your pipes are)

but the big thing was cutting the cat, and installing my Dynomax Super Turbo. that help clear her throat lol she is nice and loud now. all around

 

Just installed today CAI from legmaker, paid $300
NO change in sound, nothing!!!
Very disappointed... :-(
And of course no change in performance
