05 CV Axle
Hi I have an 05 Grand Cherokee LTD. I have 100000 K on it but at about 98000 the left front axle started clicking in a turn. I know this is one of the cv joints going actually the outer one the boot separated right at the small clamp. I suspect it is that one.
The ? I have is....Has anyone replaced one of the axle shafts and could I get a run down on what is involved. The only service manual I can seem to find is a factory one and at $550 I think I can hold out till a Haynes one shows up.
