Default cj7 engine swap

I have a 1997 chevy pickup with a 4.3L vortec engine, NV3500 5 speed manual trans and factory transfer case (unsure of what kind). With a badly rusted frame. All running gear in excellent condition. Has anyone ever tried to swap this drivetrain into a cj7? What problems or difficulties can be expected?
Thanks for any help.

not too sure about what side the transfer case exits on your pick up truck ...on cj`s it`s on passenger side .

you have to verify the length of tranny+ t/case because you have to keep in mind that the CJ is short on wheelbase ...(drive shaft length)
check these two first things first and then take decision
if length is similar and t/case exits same side ..it is feasible .
there are some aftermarket motor mounts for your 4.3L ..the rest is time lots of it !
