Default Open Circuit - Cylinder 6

Hello everyone, I have a question that has me stumped and I am hoping someone will know what i can try.. I have a code telling me that i have an open circuit on cyl 6, The wire clip that attaches to the fuel injector for cyl 6 was spliced into at one time and pigtailed back together. Will this cause too much resistance? I noticed this last week and after touching the wires my jeep started to run funny and threw the code at me. Oh and by the way, i have a 2000 XJ 4.0L
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

You could use an OHM meter to test for resistance or I think the easiest would be just redo the splice , clear the code and try it.
