I need a suspension upgrade to my '95 XJ and figured I would put a 3" lift on it. I need new rear spring packs, no add-a-leafs. I was looking at a Rancho kit but would appreciate any advice on a brand or other components to upgrade or what's the best place to order/but a kit from.

I would check out Iron Rock Offroad (www.ironrockoffroad.com). They make pretty nice kits, replacement OEM leafs and lots of other decent stuff, reasonably priced too.
