98 Cherokee/electric/fan/install/Good/option?
Im planning on taking the belt drive fan off my cherokee and install a flex-a-lite electric fan on. Is that an option that would help or would it be a bad choice for my cherokee? Im wanting to increase fuel mileage. Is there anyone that has done this and if so what was your experience? Ive heard its bad on the alternator is that true? Is it worth the 168 bucks?

Re: 98 Cherokee/electric/fan/install/Good/option?
If u get the one with enough CFM, you'll gain 5-10hp & increase fuel MPG. But it does need to be strong enough & u may need to upgrade your alternator if its still the stock one. But can be done & is a very good upgrade & will clean up your engine bay too!
